Waldo Witt - Flow - Frequency State

Waldo Witt is the moniker of John Waldo Wittenmyer, a musician and producer from Austin, Texas. He’s played in psych-rock bands earlier in his career, released a couple of solo EP’s, and is now ready to share his new album with the world.

Long Daze, Dark Nights embraces 60s and 70s psychedelia inspirations like Todd Rundgren, King Crimson, and Brian Wilson, but adds a contemporary production and aesthetic, bringing the past up to date.

Waldo, his wife, and their van road-tripped through much of the pandemic, and many of the release’s lyrics were written while traveling in isolated areas throughout the US, adding a introspective, soul searching emotion to the release.

Here’s Flow, with it’s mellow, groove, a little reminiscent of downtempo electronica such as Lemon Jelly, or Morcheeba maybe. Enjoy…
