Rust, the debut track from Major Briggs, blends ambient soundscapes with glitchy, intricate beats to create a dark, atmospheric journey. Slow, drifting tones meander over a detailed rhythmic structure, producing an edgy soundtrack-like experience. The mix of ambient textures and glitch elements gives the track an unsettling yet captivating quality.
Major Briggs is the music project of Niklas Brodd, who channeled his emotional turmoil into sound. Inspired by personal tragedy, Brodd began composing music that connects feelings to tones and colors. Rust represents a time when everything felt stagnant, like “rusting inside.” This unique concept of linking emotions to colors forms the core of Major Briggs’ sound, and Rust serves as the first release in this music-art project.
