Wing Vilma is an aka of Michigan-born Milicent Coleman, and was first introduced to the world through her 2018 album Safe By Night, utilising found sounds and percussion from her Grand Rapids environment to create an interesting, percussive, experimental sound.
She’s just released an album called Spirit Practice, via Young Heavy Souls, and recruited IDM producer Daisuke Tanabe to produce a remix that takes on board the percussive elements of the original, but adding a different slant to the production. It’s pretty cool…
