Tord is a musician from Norway, who produces some wonderful ambient music, inspired by artists such as Pink Floyd, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Brian Eno. He’s so far released a number of reflective songs and EPs, created using piano sounds, noise, and big reverb.
His latest track is called Me, Alone In The Ballroom, and stems from Tord reminiscing about his childhood, growing up in a family run hotel. It’s designed to be peaceful, and melancholic, and certainly achieves that in later stages of the track, with it’s subtle synth melodies and playful piano phrases…
