RUSNAM - Santurated (feat. Azin Zahedi)

RUSNAM is a Berlin based producer & singer & songwriter, influenced by R&B, hip-hop, and Berlin techno. She’s also the initiator of the audio-visual performance “ctrl.xx.tension”, funded by the Senate for Culture & Europe, that connects classical instruments from the middle east & north africa with electronic sounds.

Santurated is a track from her upcoming EP, and is a collaboration between RUSNAM and santur player Azin Zahedi, who first met during the ctrl.xx.tension sessions. RUSNAM confronted Azin about the issue of discrimination in music, with the first steps of ‘Santurated’ created after this talk, in which RUSNAM empowered Azin to embrace her aggression of this discrimination through making music together.
