Peter Compo is a scientist. He has a Ph.D in chemical engineering and spent a lot of his life in industry. He also has a deep interest in music and composition. Coming from a musical family in New York he has a passion for sound and music. This has manifested itself in his new project, Films.
Films is a cassette release which draws upon classic film for its inspiration, bringing pop and electronica to the table whilst also utilising noise and glitch elements, alongside traditional, acoustic instruments, such as guitars, ukeleles and percussion. It’s an interesting mix.
