Niv Ast is an electronic producer and a DJ based in Tel-Aviv. He’s also runs label ‘New Day Everyday’, producing and releasing indie flavoured dancefloor electronica. alongse enthusiasts and disco lovers.
He’s now released his second EP, ‘All I Need’, along with friend and producer Darlyn Vyls.
The combination of Niv and Darlyn gave birth to 3 tracks, influenced by Rock n’ Roll, acid & pop. The EP opens with the title track ‘All I Need’, opening with an disco influenced beat, the guitar follows,adding some rhythmic interest before the vocals arrive, it’s definitely showing some 80’s influences, but it’s cool…
‘Konark’ starts with a hi-hat pattern and kick which brings us more into dance and electronic territory. When we get properly into gear the bass synth bounces us along nicely into a groove which keeps us bouncing…
‘Numb Dumb’ is the final track on the EP, and again we’re in electronic territory, it starts off with a pulsating energy that doesn’t give up, later moving into a 303 groove with some acid bass at the forefront…
