KILLTHESAX – The Accident: Controlled Chaos and Textural Energy

The Accident begins with processed string tones and glitchy layers that quickly build into a dense and unpredictable soundscape. Granular textures and distorted tones merge with restless drum breaks, creating an atmosphere that feels both chaotic and deliberate. As the track progresses, moments of tension give way to rhythmic drive, with sharp leads and shifting chord ambiences shaping its evolving energy.

Behind the project is KILLTHESAX, a new artist from Marseille, France. Their sound blends DIY electronics, garage rock, and experimental pop into something raw and exploratory. Drawing on influences like Nicolas Jaar, Dan Auerbach, and AIR, they craft a sonic identity that thrives on imperfection and experimentation.

Currently working toward their first EP, KILLTHESAX are also developing a live project that aims to capture the same urgency and curiosity found in their studio work. The Accident serves as an introduction to their approach — inventive, noisy, and full of movement.
