A few weeks ago we featured a track from Grandbrothers, a duo, comprising German-Turkish pianist Erol Sarp and Swiss engineer/software designer Lukas Vogel.
They’ve now released “Daybreak,” the second single from their new album ‘Late Reflections’ due out April 14th via City Slang. It’s a wonderful track, recorded in nocturnal solitude in Cologne Cathedral, drawing the listener into “a special topography of pulsating sounds, slow swelling & heavily alienated piano samples.”
