Fraser West - Are You So Blind?

Fraser West is an alternative folk musician from Crawley, in the UK. His music, whilst being acoustic in nature, has some wonderful electronic touches, with great use of effects adding a psychedelic swirl to these folky soundscapes. It’s verging on ambient in places too, lovely stuff…

Are You So Blind? – It’s an interesting track, and initially I wasn’t going to post it, on the surface it’s not your everyday piece of electronic music. It’s a grower though, a lovely recording, and full of dynamics and interesting textures. I think the way small sound fragments are effected and used within the production remind me a little of when I first heard Lost & Safe by The Books.
