This year has seen a massive revival of music festivals across the UK, it’s fantastic to see the live events industry coming alive post-covid. We’re especially delighted to see Beat-Herder back in action, one of the most exciting festivals in the calendar.
Beat-Herder began as a small event back in 2006 for 1200 people, in the beautiful woodland and countryside of Lancashire. Mostly based around the Toil Trees and a small stage, it’s now regarded as one of the countries best independent music festivals.
It’s now sold out, but we’re stoked to be going along, to bring you some live updates and reports via our blog and social media. Here’s a preview video to give you a flavour of the festival, plus a couple of things things we’re definitely going to be checking out…
The Orb (The Perfumed Garden)
Simply legends, and currently celebrating 30 years since the release of UFOrb, we’re looking forwards to seeing The Orb perform at the Perfumed Garden, a wonderful dome venue that will also see the Ozric Tentacles and Malawian musician Gaspar Nali.

Beatles Dub Club (Toil Trees)
Toil Trees is where Beat Herder first started, a wonderful woodland venue with fantastic DJ’s, and a great sound system. There’s some great headliners including Alan Fitzpatrick and KiNK, there’s classic DJ’s including Marshall Jefferson, Rob Da Back and Mr Scruff.
