BAILE - I Really Missed You as a Friend

BAILE is an AKA of Brooklyn-based producer Reed Kackley. Although Reed can often be found producing downtempo house and dance music, he’s recently turned his talents to something a little more subtle.

‘I Really Missed You as a Friend’ originated as the intro to an unreleased documentary exploring the life of a 19-year old trans woman living in Brazil, as she reconnects with her mother and brother at a pivotal moment in her life. The track was reworked and extended, to create a wonderful track that breathes, with the ebbs and flow of synthesiser pads moving over a repetitive piano motif that itself has space to move and grow.
