Awlies is excited to unveil “Alright,” a track that marks a new artistic direction for the electronic music project. Opening with a repetitive vocal sample that loops and glitches, “Alright” quickly shifts into a driving and skipping breakbeat. Intricate edits keep the listener engaged, while synth pads provide harmonic interludes that embrace the track’s evolving texture. As it progresses, new elements are introduced, reminiscent of Underworld’s Second Toughest in the Infants.
Drawing inspiration from the UK electronic movement, particularly artists like Overmono and Ross From Friends, as well as the drum and bass influence of Lone, Awlies modernizes these styles with contemporary sound design and modular synthesis. A significant portion of the track is crafted using hardware synthesizers, giving it a unique and authentic sound.
