We were excited to discover this new track from Village of the Sun, a project from Simon Ratcliffe of dance music legends Basement Jaxx, and featuring Binker Golding and Moses Boyd (of Binker & Moses). We’d featured Binker & Moses previously with their track feed infinite, so we new it was going to be pretty good…
Indeed it didn’t disappoint, opening with some electric piano and that slowly opens up over the first minute, accompanied by some percussion, synth and a little sax, to warm us up for later. Soon enough there’s a warm bass adding some bottom end, before the drums complete the groove. And then there’s the sax, leading us through the track with some amazing playing.
