Sortblod, the solo project of Danish musician Gustav Hedemann Christensen, explores experimental textures and layered atmospheres in Antiwork. Antiwork is part of Sortblod’s upcoming debut album, Nye sange (New Songs), releasing on November 15th. The album is a mix of five vocal-led songs in Danish and five instrumental pieces, drawing on influences like Galen Tipton and Pauline Oliveros. Through a diverse sound palette—including ceramic keyboards, sine wave synths, acoustic guitars, and homemade beats—Sortblod reflects on themes of love, care, and societal challenges. The instrumental tracks highlight contrasts between fast-paced and slower elements, challenging conventional structures and offering alternative perspectives.
