Ambient Music for Watering Plants pays homage to Brian Eno’s seminal album, Ambient 1: Music for Airports. For Past Palms, the collection of songs traverses meditative and experimental soundscapes with emphasis on capturing the textures and emotions of common houseplants, including the palm, monstera, philodendron, sansevieria, and orchid. Held together by glistening pads, reverb-blurred vocal samples, swelling strings, and layers of rainforest recordings, each song serves as a sonic personification of a different plant and the process of caring for it in an indoor environment.

If you liked that, then head on over to the album release page on Bandcamp and show Past Palms some love. We’ve added Meditation III to our Spotify ambient playlist. Listen to it and more great ambient music on Spotify.
