Minus Kle is the solo project of Cologne-based musician Kay Lehmkuhl, who’s also a member of the band Alpentines. He’s recently released a lovely track called Vanity Helps.
It’s not quite the full electronic vibe that we like to feature, but it’s lovely vibe, opening with a warm synth melody, before the vocals and guitar take over. Later we’re introduced to some electronic production that provide a wonderful backdrop to the track, adding texture and interest to the sound.
A s a song it kind of reminds me of Simon and Garfunkel, and that’s not a bad a bad thing. Enjoy…
