Factor Eight - A Voice (IV)

Factor Eight is the artistic alias for Saskatchewan-based artist Andrew Bennett. While primarily an experimental-electronic music artist, Factor Eight has also created in other mediums including street dance, installation art, and most recently, performance art.

His latest album is called ‘II’, and is a choose what you pay release on Bandcamp, with proceeds donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association Saskatoon.

II is a 1.5hr concept album that tells a story from front to back. A selection of works titled ‘A Voice’ were created using only Andrew’s voice, as a sonic parallel to giving a voice to mental illness. It’s a wonderful sound, with some great textures in there. Check out A Voice (IV) below…
