The Chicago-based alternative outfit Bonelang (comprised of long time friends and collaborators Samy. Language and Matt Bones) has announced the release of their forthcoming EP Nervous Oracle in partnership with AWAL. Their second offering from the collection, ‘Dog Cannibal’ features Chicago alt-kid Kweku Collins; it’s a left of center alternative number that discusses issues of fidelity in a society built on lust. “Everybody knows that I’m a backwards God of some kind, howling in the night” belts Samy in the chorus.

I like it, it’s beaty and bouncy, got some cool hip hop vibes, cool guitar setting the scene in the intro, it’s very well crafted, reminds me a little of Black Eyed Peas with it’s vocal layers, rhythmically it’s more interesting, especially towards the end . Check it out…
