Derek Muro - Ultravoid - Frequency State

Derek Muro has music in his DNA. Raised in a musical family (his mother a church music director, his father a pioneering electronic musician), he pursued his unavoidable fate throughthe Juilliard Pre-College program and Manhattan School of Music. He then moved to LA to pursue his career as a film composer, working in the studios of Hans Zimmer, performances at BAM and the Yale Institute for Music Theatre.

He’s recently released Chronopolis, following up 2021’s Cues, and has been highlighted on a range of Spotify editorial playlists.
