We previously featured RiDylan a while back with his track Rack Life. For those that didn’t see that, RiDylan is the alias of Dylan Gauthier, from Vancouver, BC, where he’s heavily involved in the local underground music community. He produces high energy music that includes influences from jungle, acid, breakbeat, braindance, hardcore, electro, IDM and footwork. He’s released music on labels including Cock Rock Disco, Heterodox, Kitty on Fire, and Planet Euphorique. (Yes, there is a label called Cock Rock Disco).
“When it comes to breakbeats though, this Renoise veteran has an unrivalled sense of syncopation, and mastery of the tropes. You’re gonna have epic snare rolls, glitched out polyrhythmic brain overloaders, and synapse melting synthwork that will unfortunately transform your brain into a fried egg.”Melt Unit
Here’s another track from RiDylan, it’s the closing track from a compilation from Club Designs, and a great electro / breakbeat track, with some great breakdown moments in there…
If you’re looking to get more of an electro fix, here’s the whole release on Bandcamp…
