PME is a LA-based experimental sound and visual artist focused on creating exploratory tapestries of sound using synthesizers and drums, utilising improvisational techniques. He’s recently recent a limited edition album ‘Drum Art‘ released by Mystery Circles in a limited edition of 50 cassettes.
Drum Art is a meditation and celebration of the instrument that has brought so much joy and meaning into my life. This music is a kaleidoscopic journey through the many timbres, sounds, and modes of expression that are possible with a drumset, cymbals, and the various implements available to coax these impulses into reality. Recent transcendental experiences have shown me that drumming is a magical lineage which acts as a spiritual link when channeled, allowing us the opportunity to connect with the eternal, and peer into the unseen areas of existence and evolution itself.
