McDead - Cyclone - Frequency State

Kev McDead is a London born multi-instrumentalist and producer, based between Belgrade and Melbourne. His songwriting is heavily influenced by the psychedelic shoegaze, rock and experimental electronic bands he worked with as a teenage roadie and guitarist back in the 90s.

He’s recently released Cyclone, a gently spiralling ambient-influenced track. Beginning with some throaty sounding layered strings, created with cello drones, aided by an Ebow. This tack is soon complemented by percussion that has a groove, yet slightly disjointed, creating atmosphere and building a little tension.
