Cirkulae is a cutting-edge crossover of IDM and contemporary classical music.
The Rutger Muller ensemble features Muller at its core, and accompanied by Josephine Bode, and Wen Chin Fu. Their unique sound is created through improvisation, live sound processing and unorthodox instrumental techniques.
Their approach is based upon live musicians interacting with drone layers, which is then processed and transformed in a live environment, in a circular process, to enable the composition to develop further. It’s an interesting approach, and creates an engaging and ethereal soundscape…
