John Derek Bishop is a Norwegian-American electronic musician and producer from Stavanger, Norway. He creates music utilising hardware and software equipment, including retro tape recorders, modular synthesisers, samplers and a diverse array of other tools, influenced by ambient, electronica and experimental jazz.
He’s released five well received albums, and been nominated for the Norwegian equivalent of the Grammys. He’s composed for dance and performance art, and composed music for short films.
