“Lake Poe” ebbs and flows like waves on a sonic beach, inviting listeners to immerse themselves in its captivating melodies. The blissful combination of keys and horns, courtesy of Kafari (Sudan Archives) and Jarrett Gilgore (Jaimie Branch), seamlessly intertwines with pulsating percussion and mesmerizing guitar stylings. Together, they transport us to a sun-soaked tropical destination, where worries are left behind.
