Adam Schmieder - Intersecting Point

Adam Schmieder is a composer and producer based in Los Angeles. He’s just released Intersecting Point, as part of an EP called Past the Ladder of Horizon. It’s a fascinating track, with a intro that slowly builds in tempo and ambience until we’re at one with our soundscape, with an immersive and hypnotic atmostphere. It almost feels railway like, or like an engine starting up.

I’m going a little abstract here but the track reminded me a little of this video of a Diesel locomotive coming alive, slowly building in rhythm and intensity until it roared into life. In fact if you play both videos simultaneously it’s quite an interesting soundscape…
