TiMMY ONYSiM – “50ml”: A Bold Introduction to Experimental Soundscapes

TiMMY ONYSiM’s debut single 50ml is an immersive and genre-blending journey into the complexities of self-discovery and escapism. Released last November, the track serves as the first glimpse into his upcoming album, set for release in April. Combining elements of experimental electronic music, dubstep, and hyper-pop, 50ml pushes sonic boundaries while maintaining a strong rhythmic foundation.

Distorted and heavily processed vocals weave through layers of chopped samples, eerie flute-like melodies, and glimpses of piano that offer fleeting moments of harmonic grounding. The track grooves with an unpredictable energy, balancing a deep bass presence with an eclectic mix of textures and tones. Beneath the surface, 50ml reflects TiMMY ONYSiM’s personal struggles with alcohol as a means of escape, capturing a raw emotional depth through intricate sound design and production techniques.

Originally from Paris, TiMMY ONYSiM has crafted a unique artistic voice, drawing from his classical piano training at the Paris Regional Conservatory, self-taught production skills, and later studies at Berklee College of Music. Now based in Brooklyn, he continues to evolve his sound, blending electronic experimentation with personal storytelling.
