Morty is a pseudonym of Los Angeles-based drummer and music producer Bryan Morton. He’s got a wealth of experience as a recording engineer and live musician, and now focuses his energy on music with a more cosmic and experimental vibe.
MARS!? is a track taken from Bryan’s debut album First Light, available now, and has a focus on space travel, with a vocal and ambience that reminds me of tracks by The Orb. What’s quite special here is that the voice is a recording of Bryan’s grandfather, a NASA engineer in the 1960’s. Check out the track below…
