Martin Zacho is a musician and producer who draws inspiration from jazz, dance music and improvisation to create an exciting mix of contemporary music. Working under the name thedailyxrcise he collaborates with other musicians to bring his ideas to life.
Be Around is the first single from his debut EP ‘A. Compromise’, which consists of 3 tracks, composed by a process of radically editing improvised material from a Copenhagen recording session with musicians Jonathan Jull Ludvigsen (Athletic Progression, Erica De Casier), Maria Dybbroe (Cactus) and Mads Ege (Goss, Yune).
The motivation behind the project is to investigate the intersection of free-jazz and clubbing cultures, by creating electro-acoustic music, that is as complex as it is captivating, hopefully challenging the established order and opening up the world of experimental music and sounds to a broader audience.
