⚡ȧ†á†ï¢å⚡ is a heart-wrenching cello heavy meandering composition. The first single from Mabe Fratti + Concepción’s upcoming EP of the same name. If you like Lamb’s first album then it’s a pretty safe bet you’ll be right at home here.
It’s a wonderfully atmospheric track, that begins with electronic bleeps, underscored by a sinister rumbling. A simple cello framgent repeats, accompanied soon by another part on the other side of the stereo image before a vocal provides an emotional focus that leads us through the track.
The duo wanted to express overwhelming sensations that the news of the world resonated in their minds and bodies, and how small it made them feel. Although these things were going on in reality, things still felt ｓｔａｔｉｃ. Estática exacerbates this notion with the lyrics referring to the feeling of being overwhelmed and confused.
