Shadow is the second single from David Duffy’s debut album “Aperture”, and features the talents of jazz vocalist Ksenia Parkhatskaya. Duffy, an established composer and upright bassist merges unique uses and processing of his double bass, hypnotic piano loops, and complex evolving textures using voice, found sound and analog synthesis to create this expression of evolving forms, and ambient, pulsating energy. By bringing in Jazz vocalist Parkhatskaya on this track Duffy explores a unique sound somewhere between, Electronica, Neo classical and Jazz.
