PARKGOLF, the Sapporo-based producer known for his playful yet refined electronic productions, has released two new tracks as part of his latest EP, FOLK JUMP.
“Cow’s Memory” opens with digital textures and a raw electronic tone before giving way to delicate, string-like sounds. The arrangement maintains a bright, multilayered character with a light-hearted and inventive approach. While unmistakably electronic, the track leans into pastoral atmospheres, balancing structured composition with a sense of openness.
“Hidden Gem” starts on a darker, moodier footing, with processed vocals and percussive elements laying the foundation for a gradual evolution into brighter melodic territory. The shifting layers and varied textures create a sense of journey, maintaining interest through subtle structural changes and rhythmic pacing.
PARKGOLF’s production style is characterised by an unusual sonic balance that bridges electronic, pop, and experimental sounds. With remix and production credits including Gesu no Kiwami Otome and tofubeats, his work consistently blends accessible musicality with off-centre creativity. These two tracks continue that trajectory—offering contrasting moods, thoughtful arrangement, and a distinctive sonic signature.
