Originally released as part of a Castles In Space subscription compilation, the track returns here in a remastered and edited form, making it available across streaming services and Bandcamp for the first time as a standalone release.
Built around repeating synthesizer sequences, evolving textures and gradual shifts in atmosphere, Cronus draws on influences from classic electronic music while maintaining a contemporary production approach. The track unfolds slowly, allowing patterns and timbres to emerge and develop over its duration.
Alongside the audio release, an interactive audiovisual version has been created for the Matthew Greasley website, allowing listeners to engage with a responsive visual environment while the music plays.
