Confusions is an experimental pop band founded by songwriter and music therapist Ben Turner, who uses his musical passion to explore the therapeutic processes of creating music, with experimental production and a lofi aesthetic at the heart his creative process.
Inspired by the likes of musicians as diverse and innovative as J Dilla, Animal Collective and Brian Eno, he’s created an exciting new track, No Praise. Combining acoustic and electronic sounds and samples, it’s an interesting insight into the world of Confusions…
If you liked that, then check out Same Wheel, the follow on release from Confusions, which features an audio sample of political analyst Jared Yates Sexton, tracking the “purpose of the public education and school to employment pipeline”. It’s short, but effective.
Both tracks are taken from the forthcoming album “Muck of Moral” – due to be released March 10 via Earth Libraries.
