Jovany Rico, an alumni of Icon Collective, one of Southern California’s premier electronic dance music production schools, brings technical prowess to the duo. James Shen, known as Shenanigans!, has a rich history in DJing and the LA dance circuit, as well as the art scene.
MDNTMVMT’s music captures the essence of the late ’90s and 2000s rave scene, infusing it with a contemporary, darker twist. Their signature ‘Midnight Movement’ events not only bring the music to life but also emphasize the importance of community and the PLUR (Peace, Love, Unity, Respect) ethos, keeping the spirit of rave culture alive.
